Another strategy for preparing the lawn for snowfall is providing fertilization when autumn starts. When spring season starts again your lawn will have enough nutrition retained in its soil, to continue producing a good result, even after snowfall.

When the lawn lacks supply of proper sunlight the lawn develops better endurance capacity to withstand heavy snow, when it is properly aerated. Some regions receive a reasonable amount of snowfall, and lawns in such weather can still look pretty good in this weather.
