I recommend having a professional take care of your lawn. I tried to grow my own lawn and failed miserably. Living in Arizona sod is the most convenient way for me to get a lush lawn. I had Evergreen Turf install it since I couldn't manage growing grass I didn't want to mess up laying sod. So far it's been great, and I have been able to keep it alive.
