It?s also a good idea to put your water garden in a spot away from tall plants such as tall shrubs or trees. A lot of times, these plants will absorb most of the sunlight themselves making it harder for the organisms within the water garden to absorb sunlight which may cause them to die off early.

Other features to add to your water garden may be strictly dependent on your budget. Those who have the necessary funds can add a variety of features that will make the water garden look more appealing such as a waterfall, rocks, and several of other designs. When an individual is building a water garden, it is important to make note that the plant materials shouldn?t cover no more then fifty percent of the surface of the water. There are other organisms that live in the water as well, and if the surface is covered then they can?t receive sunlight and will die off as well.
